Celebrating their 40th year in the business this year, father and son team Leo and Mike O’Reilly and son-in-law Jamie Nancarrow have grown Model Flight from a shared passion into the multi-channel retailer it is today.

Director Jamie said the team at Model Flight love to help their customers enjoy their purchases.

“We pride ourselves on selling top quality radio control products and supporting those remote control products with parts, accessories and a high level of after-sales service” he said.

“As technology has advanced what used to be considered a niche hobby, or enthusiast market, has now become more mainstream with consumers being able to have a one-box purchase and get out and use the product inside an hour.”

“These advancements in technology have also meant that prices and the need for any type of previous experience has been reduced and for most people means the level of fun-factor has increased.”

“Products such as drones, or multi-rotors, have more recently appealed to a new audience with many having cameras included to film your weekend activities.”
